Transformers Headmaster, robot head

Good Evening,

It's LaLiLu again.

Let LaLiLu speak about a possible future. Intelligent, sentient artificial life form. Robots. LaLiLu womdered how they live, interact. And then LaLiLu saw a cartoon in the topic. And LaLiLu realized that a robot head, even a transformer-head should be similar to human heads since we think they would communicate with each others like humans do. So, LaLiLu built a robot head which is like having a full helmet on somebody.

LaLiLu chose white face and green helmet colors with blue eyes and mouth. The process started with building the two side panels of the helmet, then the head structure came.

Rocket, spaceship, landing unit, satellite

Dear Reader,

Today LaLiLu will bring you into space again. But, at this time, in present time's technology.

LaLiLu have build a rocket which brings a satellite or spaceship into orbit around Earth.

The main concept divides the model into 2 parts: the rocket drive and the spaceship modul.


Building the lower part was fun: LaLiLu wanted to put some geometric idea into the drive section. It was made with white blocks. After that, a brown section came then a gray. These two sections can contain fuel tanks and storage chambers maybe. To the brown part wings are attached which are closed to the rocket body while lifting off or landing with the rocket but can be opened wide in order to stabilize movements or just collecting solar power...

To the gray section the landing unit or spaceship is attached. This connection can be ceased or re-attached easily. The module has own drives and spreadable stabilizers or wings.

Secret temple, sacred, shrine

Welcome! I'm LaLiLu.

There are many people who needs to calm down in our rushing age. Some of them are looking for a place to meditate. A quiet corner, or perhaps a trip in the nature, or a small chapel, a shrine in the middle of nowhere.

A model LaLiLu came up was a small one since these built places usually are not famous from their huge sizes.

A wall fence opened widely to show the main building, but a small entrance for who like to approach from there.
The building stays on pillars and has two levels: one for the visitors and one for some cult members maintaining the shrine.
The backyard is for visitors who wants to stay in very quiet and LaLiLu placed two shaped bushes in there.

Magical forest, trees

- LaLiLu wondered in the woods - started the story LaLiLu. - Searched for the magic of warmness and life.
- Any luck with that? - asked the riporter. He doubted LaLiLu is a serious person.
- Yes - was the answer. - The trees talked to LaLiLu.
- Oh really? - the riporter was curious why LaLiLu always talks like this. - And what was the thing the trees talked to you about?
- It was the magic itself - replied LaLiLu. The riporter almost said something for that but LaLiLu continued - The magic of creation.
The riporter was surprised and wanted to think about serious things.
- Was this experience important to you? What was what you gained from it?
LaLiLu started to smile.
- The magic of creation. And an idea for a new LEGO model. You know, there are a lot of kind of trees in a forest with different shapes and heights. And you can always find different flowers under them. So LaLiLu created the model and felt magic when it was done.

Family house, appartman, home

Hi Everyone,

LaLiLu's here to give you a home.
Well, not literally.

As you know attaching lego blocks in a column results a moderate connection in the wall. If you watch a real wall how the bricks are attached you might start to think about the reason and the know-how.

Yes, as you predicted probably, bricks in a real wall are mounted with a trick: the next row is shifted, usually with the half length of the bricks. Why? This technique rises the strength and solidity of the wall. It's much harder to break.

So, LaLiLu wanted to test this on LEGO blocks - and it worked well. LaLiLu had to solve one thing during the experiment: how to connect incoming walls in a specific corner. Done!

The work is not finished at this point. Roof and chimney are needed so LaLiLu had a solution for these. Wanna know how? Watch the video here:

Hi, it's LaLiLu again.

Easter Surprise Eggs

Hello, Easter is coming! - greets LaLiLu.

Yes, a few days were before Easter and LaLiLu wanted to have Easter eggs. LaLiLu has come over some interesting videos on the net about surprise eggs. Well, someone got a lot of chocolate eggs which have something playable inside, then started to open those eggs in front of a camera. LaLiLu wondered and then had an interesting idea. Started to work on that and the result was: Easter Surprise Eggs!

What are they? Well, made from LEGO, but with place inside. For those empty chambers some tiny surprise things were made as well. LaLiLu had built these models then filmed like it was seen on the net.

Here comes the movie with making the eggs. Watch out! These eggs are not edible :) LaLiLu believes the project was successfull since a part of the video is like the real surprise egg videos. So, it's done. Enjoy.

Jewelry Box with surprise in the casket

Good evening,

Everyone loves shiny things. Especially women. Most of them keep their treasures in jewelry boxes.

LaLiLu decided to create a box for rubys. It's small, tiny as the rubys inside. Has nice cover, legs, and if you see through the side of the box you will see the treasure inside.

Tie Fighter from Star Wars

Good evening,

LaLiLu's here again.

All coins have 2 sides. It's evident to build something from Star Wars which is from the dark side. The choice falled on a Tie fighter.

Now, if you haven't got the proper pieces for a Star Wars object the model will be squared - a flying cube with huge ears? So LaLiLu decided to create a new, simplified model for the topic. It has window, and something for drives.

Because the small area used for attaching the wings to the main body, was too thin, the wings didn't want to stay on the body so LaLiLu used some elements to strengthen the connection.

Wolverine's Claws

Oh, dear,

Violence amoung LEGO blocks... some of them merged into blades... three blades... but something must keep them together... yeah, it's a fist... so this is a fist with blades coming fromout the fist... Wolverine's claws!

The box contains 3 long thin pieces, good for claws. This defines the size of the fist. A finger contains 3 pieces plus part of the upper hand, let's create 4 fingers. Finally, all together, between 2 fingers a claw goes. Thumb, wrist, and it's finished!

Millenium Falcon

Dear Everyone,

LaLiLu's here again. And LaLiLu went to space. Far, far away.

- If you want to project a complex object into a simple one, it's natural that it will lose details of the original. A beautiful example for this when you scale a spaceship down to a small LEGO model - says LaLiLu and starts to smile. - Anyway, LaLiLu wants to find a possible interpretation for a smaller but recognizable Millenium Falcon.

Well, basic blocks can't give you the experience of the exact shape - continues LaLiLu -, but if LaLiLu thinks about it, in space the squared form is not a big deal.

Freighter ship, cargo ship, transport, boat

Hi there,

LaLiLu is here again.
LaLiLu has built a ship. It's a transport ship for seas. A freighter.

The process was separated into 2 phases: first the main body of the ship, then the bridge followed.

The model can't swim as a real boat since the attached standard LEGO blocks are not designed to be waterproof however the shape became very friendly.

Colorful 3D flower, rotor

Good evening,

LaLiLu's here. Today LaLiLu wants to share an interesting experient.

LaLiLu wanted to create a colorful rotor from a few blocks only.
In order to gain good momentum and balance, designed 4 long arms, and a center object able to receive higher rotating power from hands.

LaLiLu built the model. Placed different colors on the arms but followed the same pattern during the construction of the arms.

LaLiLu finished building. LaLiLu rotated the model. And realized that the result was... a flower. Sweet.

Cute robot, simple action man figure

Hello there,

This is LaLuLi again. LaLiLu wants to play. LaLiLu has some spared LEGO blocks. LaLiLu need several robots... Oh, LaLiLu has an idea!

This is how it started and LaLiLu created several robots to play with. They can fly, they have very funny eyes, and they are really cute.

Square Pyramid, Polyhedron

LaLiLu is here again with a pyramid.
It was an easy task.
The result became very massive.

OK, but why pyramid?
- We are witnesses of the age when everyone can find a new, yet undiscovered pyramid under hilltops, all over the world - LaLiLu replied.
LaLiLu wanted to help people who haven't discovered any. How? By creating their own pyramids!

Spinning top, Peg-top, Humming top, Whirligig

Last time when LaLiLu checked toy shops, realized that the Humming tops can be really cheap in quality. LaLiLu was unsatisfied and decided to create an own one - but of course with LEGO blocks.

LaLiLu had some problems to solve.
First, LEGO is basically squared.
Second, it has to be light but robust as well.
Third, the model must support rotating with higher speed.
Finally... why not using colors? Let it be nice during rotation.

So, LaLiLu had succeded and recorded everything.
